Kaytrin Ziemann (2026)

2026 Outstanding Graduate Award Winner

Kaytrin Ziemann, a Schenectady high school graduate class of 2006. As a restaurateur and mother of two, Kaytrin co-owns Ziemann Hospitality Group with her chef husband, Devin Ziemann. After high school Kaytrin graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor's in Science focused on dietetics and food service management.

She has been in the restaurant industry since 2006, discovering early on her love for working with people and the importance of excellent customer service and currently owns two restaurants on state street in Schenectady. Kaytrin believes in making every guest feel welcome, understood, and special. Her attention to detail, presence with her team, guests, and ability to make every one around her feel seen truly set her apart from the rest. 

It is our pleasure to award the 2026 Schenectady City School District Educational Foundation’s Crystal Apple Award for Outstanding Graduate to Kaytrin Ziemann!
